Medical Camp Conducted at Uran as Part of Navy Week 2022 - 16 Nov 22

INHS Sandhani conducted a medical camp for the civilian population at Uran village on 16 Nov 22 as part of community outreach and Navy Week 2022. Specialists from departments of Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Dentistry from INHS Sandhani and INHS Asvini provided residents of the region comprehensive medical and dental screening. All registered patients were screened for hypertension, diabetes mellitus and anaemia along with anthropometry, hemogram, biochemistry and electrocardiogram evaluation. A total of 1,000 beneficiaries availed facilities at the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Surgeon RAdm Anupam Kapur, NM, Commanding Officer, INHS Asvini and witnessed enthusiastic response from Uran and adjoining areas.
