Youth of Kishtwar District are being constantly motivated by Indian Army to participate in sports and creative activities and it binds them together irrespective of religion, cast, creed and beliefs. In continuation of same, another noble initiative taken by Indian Army is to establish 'Chingam Youth Club' for the youth of Chingam valley, which will provide an opportunity and platform to youth to hone their creative talent and also widen avenues for further studies. The common facility will also inculcate a sense of unity and pride in the hearts and minds of Youth in the region. The club has been equipped with Computer Training Lab, Library and sports facilities.

This Youth Activities Centre is definitely a step towards providing much needed basic sports and computer training infrastructure for the youth as also towards channelizing youth energy in right direction for greater good of the society. It serves as a stepping stone for development of the area and highly appreciated by the people and civil administration.
