Sparsh Outreach Programme Conducted at DPDO Secunderabad
Secunderabad, 28 Dec 2022
Controller of Defence Accounts, Chennai is conducting SPARSH ((System for Pension Administration (Raksha)) Outreach Programmes at various places located in the States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
As a part of the programme, the Controller of Defence Accounts Chennai conducted an Outreach Programme on 28th December 2022 at DPDO (Defence Pension Disbursement Office) Secunderabad. The Ministry of Defence under the Central Government has rolled out a SPARSH Portal and module for Pensioners as a one stop one solution for all Defence/Defence Civilian Pensioners.
Shri T Jayaseelan, IDAS, Controller of Defence Accounts Chennai, Colonel Veteran TASA, Col V Jayan, Shri Sreenesh Kumar Nori, Regional Sainik Welfare Officer and other Officers from Defence Accounts Department attended the Programme. The lighting of the lamp was done by Pensioners in the presence of CDA Chennai.
Around 600 Ex-servicemen, Retired Defence Civilians and their families from the districts of Hyderabad Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, Nalgonda & Sangareddy attended the programme.
In the Outreach Programme, the benefits of the new system have been explained. CDA Chennai has given replies to all queries raised by the pensioners in the open forum. Mrs Sangeetha, IDAS addressed & clarified the doubts of pensioners and their grievances are taken up to resolve them.
The programme was very useful to the pensioners consequent on the migration of their pension account from the legacy system to the new system SPARSH.
