Assam Rifles Conducted Stress Management and Training Programme at Mokokchung Garrison, Mokokchung District,Nagaland

Mokokchung Battalion of Assam Rifles  under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a week long ‘Stress Management and Training Program’ for the troops and families at Mokokchung Garrison, Mokokchung District, Nagaland on 12 - 17 Feb 2023.

The yoga session was conducted as part of Art of Living initiative by Ministry of Home Affairs to spread awareness and practice aerobic breathing & new yoga techniques to maintain a stress free environment. The program was well planned and smoothly executed by experts yoga trainer who also briefed to incorporate yoga in daily routine. The event was very fruitful and will have great significance in the life of security forces who are exposed to psychological stresses of isolation, seperation from family and face physical and environmental extremes
