Assam Rifles Carried Out Inauguration of Water Tank at Khoripok Village, Kamjong District Under OP Sadbhavana Project

Keithelmanbi Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) carried out inauguration of Water Tank at Khoripok Village under "OPERATION SADBHAVANA" project in Kamjong district of Manipur on 20 February 2023. 

With a vision to provide clean water and improvement of basic infrastructure for the local populace of the area a water tank was projected as part of Op Sadbhavana. The general area being hilly had been facing shortage of clean drinking water and the construction of the water tank is an endeavours by Assam Rifles towards assisting the local populace for a better standard of living conditions under Operation Sadbhavana project. The water tank with water holding capacity of 75,000 liters will provide for Villages of Upper Khoripok, Yasom and Lower Khoripok.

The inauguration ceremony was witnessed by of local Villagers and members of Village Committee.

The local populace and members of Village committee highly appreciated the sustained efforts of Assam Rifles on all fronts towards development of the less developed areas of Manipur and assisting locals on all fronts.
