Online Registration for the Recruitment of Army Agniveers Open Till March 15  Director ARO Addresses on the Modified Agniveer Recruitment Process at Patiala

Chandigarh: 22 February, 2023

Director, Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Patiala conducted a press conference today at Patiala. The press conference aimed to brief the youths of Punjab about the ongoing modified army Agniveer recruitment process. The Director informed the Media persons that the notification for the recruiting year 2023 has been uploaded on www.joinindianarmy.in on 16th February, 2023 and the last date for online registration is 15th March, 2023.

He further informed that for the selection under Army Agniveer, candidates are first required to pass written examinations to be conducted online at nominated centres. Candidates are required to give five choices for their centre while filling in the form. After online exam, based on the merit list, the Candidates would be called for the remaining recruiting process.

He advised the Candidates to ensure that the online payment option is activated on their card for payments using debit/credit cards, to avoid any rejection. He also cautioned the Candidates not to fall prey to touts or agents, as the entire process is automated and transparent. Lastly, candidates of class 10th and 12th undergoing ITI/ diploma have been given weightage. Candidates with NCC C certificates are also given additional weightage.
