Vice Adm Biswajit Dasgupta FOC-in-C ENC visits DSSC, Wellington

Vice Adm Biswajit Dasgupta, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Naval Command visited the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Tamilnadu from 21-23 Feb and addressed the Officers undergoing the 78th Staff Course on the Maritime Challenges in the Indian Ocean Region(IOR). He also held discussions with Lt Gen Virendra Vats, Commandant and Rear Adm Puruvir Das, Chief Instructor (Navy) of DSSC.                                                 

During his interactions with the training faculty, the CinC was briefed on the progress made by the college over the years, as well as contemporary techniques being employed to prepare student officers for future Staff and Command tenures.

The FOC-in-C also awarded commendations to two officers and two PBORs from the training faculty for their hard work and devotion to duty.
