Loktak Battalion Conducted Interaction With CSOS

Loktak battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), Assam Rifles interacted with CSOs at Company Operating Base, Tuibong, Churachandpur District (Manipur) on 25 February 2023.

The meeting was organized to strengthen the camaraderie and bonding between Assam Rifles and CSOs of local communities. The meeting was attended by 27 members of various CSOs of Churachandpur district. The meeting enabled a free and willing interaction between Assam Rifles and CSOs allowing various issues ranging from improving the education system, medical facilities and cordial relationship for improvement of the society in general. The Company Commander appraised the CSOs of the various tasks undertaken by Assam Rifles for the upliftment of the local populace, comprising of, construction works, organization of medical camps and educational facilities, employment opportunities provided by the Loktak Battalion.

The locals and CSOs appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles and requested to conduct more such meets in future for the betterment of Meitei Society in Churachandpur.
