Assam Rifles Organises Friendly Visit to Discipleship Making Ministry Children Home

Churachandpur Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) standing firm to its credo "Friends of the North East People" organised a friendly visit to Discipleship Making Ministry Children Home at Pangzwal, Lamka, Churachandpur Dist, and Manipur on 25 February 2023.

The visit was aimed at promoting hygiene and cleanliness as a tool to fight diseases and promote healthy living. The team also promoted awareness about post effects of COVID-19 and complications arising due to the same. The children were motivated to use general methods of hygiene on a day-to-day basis. The visit concluded with distribution of sweets and essential items for the Children Home.

The Children Home authorities and locals expressed their gratitude to the security forces for conducting such fruitful event.
