Assam Rifles Provision of Water Supply Scheme for Alpha Friendship School at Kachai Village

Somsai Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) provided materials for Water Supply Scheme at Alpha Friendship School under Operation Sadbhavana at Kachai Village of Ukhrul district on 25 February 2023.

The Provision of water Supply Scheme was organised on the request of Alpha Friendship School, Sun Bird Trust and Kachai village authorities as the school does not have access to water supply in the village and water sources are situated far away from school location. A total of 250 students and 20 staff of Alpha friendship school will be benefited through this water supply scheme.

The initiative by Assam Rifles has solved the long pending need of water supply for the Alpha friendship school. Students and teachers applauded the efforts of the Assam Rifles for this gesture which will help improve mutual trust while maintaining peace & harmony in the region.
