Assam Rifles Felicitated Students of Kohima Science College, of Forthcoming National Science Day at Jotsoma Kohima District, Nagaland

Kohima Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) reached out to Science College, at Jotsoma Kohima Dist, Nagaland on 22 Feb 2023.as a run up to the upcoming National Science Day.

 An officer from Kohima Battalion interacted with the Students and Faculty of Kohima Science College and felicitated them for their contribution to the society. National Science Day is an annual observance adopted by the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) of Government of India since 1986 to commemorate the great inventions and discoveries in the field of science by the great Indian Scientists and also to provide an opportunity to scientific minded students and professionals to excel in the field of science. Though it is observed on 28 Feb, but the event was celebrated on 22 Feb 2023 in view of the College being closed on 28 Feb. This thoughtful gesture from Kohima Battalion of Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the faculty and students of Kohima Science College, Jotsoma who looked forward to more interactive sessions in future
