Army Empowers EWS Youth of Assam With Key Job Skills

Red Shield Division under the aegis of Spear Corps and ICICI Foundation has assisted 21 children from Economically Weaker Section in skill development and obtain jobs in various companies pan India.

The skill development training for the youth commenced at Guwahati, Assam after an MoU with ICICI Bank as financial partners. The program focussed on four basic skills and trained the selected candidates of Upper Assam for eight weeks. During the convocation ceremony on 25 Feb 23, it was announced that all the 21 candidates got suitable job placements in various reputed companies across the country.
