National Integration Tour Contingent Visits Army Public School Kolkata

The National Integration Tour organised by Modi Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) from Machi to Kolkata and back wef 22 Feb 2023- 07 Mar 2023 comprising of 20 students from Machi Government High School today visited Army Public School, Kolkata.

The school is one of the premier institutions in India that trains young boys and girls to become leaders in various fields and is known for its rigorous academic curriculum,co-curricular activities,games and physical fitness and character development.Students of APS Kolkata welcomed the NIT team with a multi-cultural program . As a return gesture, the very talented girls of the Machi government High school performed an impromptu dance performance which left everyone spellbound.

Students witnessed demonstrations in their state-of-the-art science laboratories,got hands-on to the modern IT equipments and the ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ instituted under the Atal Innovation Mission which exposed the students to innovations conceptualised by the students of the APS Kolkata.The visit of the NIT team is expected to further enhance the students' overall personality development by giving them a wide variety of experiences and instil a sense of pride in their nation and become a responsible citizen .
