Young Students on National Integration Tour Mesmerised by Eco Park Kolkata

The National Integration Tour organised by Modi Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) from Machi to Kolkata and back wef 22 Feb 2023- 07 Mar 2023 comprising of 20 students from Machi Government High School today visited Eco Park, Kolkata which is one of the largest urban parks in India and is popular for its lush greenery and breathtaking views.

The children were excited to see the various sections of the park with variety of flora and fauna, including over 100 species of plants and trees, several species of birds and butterflies, and a large number of fish and other aquatic creatures.The students experienced an exemplary sensory experience, with its vibrant colors and mesmerising fragrances which is definitely one-of-its-kind experience for them. They also expressed that they were amazed by the beauty of the park and would cherish the memories of their visit forever.

Students and teachers expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organising the event under National Integration Tour (NIT). Assam Rifles’ efforts to promote national unity and harmony have been widely appreciated and the event has received praise from all.
