Assam Rifles Organises Distribution of Solar Lights at Biramangol College Sawombung, Imphal East

Mantripukhri Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised distribution of Six Solar Lights at Biramangol College, Sawombung, Imphal East, Manipur on 27 Feb 2023.

In continuation of its efforts to reach out to local populace Assam Rifles conducts various welfare and developmental activities to win the hearts of the local populace and boost the image of the armed forces among the common people. Total six solar lights were handed over to the Biramangol College which are beneficial in enhancing the security of the college during night.

Shri K Iboumcha Singh, MLA Lamlai AC was also present during the distribution ceremony.Shri K Iboumcha Singh, MLA Lamlai AC, college principal, staff and students expressed their profound gratitude to the Assam Rifles for extending all the help & support. Such gesture will go a long way towards endearing local populace towards Assam Rifles.
