Assam Rifles Constructs Toilet Block for L Muncham Village in Churachandpur

In continuation with the efforts of Assam Rifles to assist the local populace, Churachandpur Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) and Spear Corps constructed and handed over Toilet Block in L Muncham village of Sangaikot Sub division, Churachandpur District on 28 February 2023.

 As part of Op Sadbhavna project under Assam Rifles Civic Action Project, a toilet block was constructed in order to aid 40 households of L Mucham village which was devoid of proper latrine facilities. The project will promote the health and hygiene of the villagers and uphold the government of India efforts to make the rural villagers devoid from open defecation.

The villagers appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for construction of Toilet block and in reinforcing the motto of "Friends of North East" through various such fruitful projects for the rural villages of Manipur.
