Motivational Talk by women officer to commemorate International Women's day

Headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area organised a motivational address for the students of Army Public School Bolarum, Secunderabad to commemorate the celebration of International Women’s Day, to be celebrated on 8^th March. Students were privileged to listen to Lieutenant Colonel Trupti Deshpande from 1 EME Centre who delivered the address and motivated the students to join the Armed Forces. The address gave clarity on different entries that a student can opt to join the Armed Forces. Students gained knowledge about the different arms existing in the Indian Army. Lt Col Trupti Deshpande also updated the students with the latest changes implemented in terms of the induction of women and men into the Armed Forces. She also gave information about the different training academies present all over India and the mode of entry for students into these academies. She also gave a glimpse of the career opportunities that students would be presented with when one joins the Armed Forces. Principal Mrs Smitha Govind felicitated the lady officer with a memento as a token of appreciation and regard.
