National Integration Tour Contingent Interacts with Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal

The National Integration Tour organised by Modi Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) from Machi to Kolkata and back wef 22 Feb 2023- 06 Mar 2023 comprising of 20 students from Machi Government High School today interacted with Dr C.V.Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal.

The tour is aimed at providing exposure to students to interact with eminent personalities and visit places & institutions of historical  & national importance.The students shared their experience of this tour so far with the Governor and also expressed how it is beneficial in shaping their character and future. Girl Students of Machi Govt high school also presented the song ‘Come NIT- Unite,be one’ at the Raj Bhavan which was applauded by all. The Hon’ble Governor during his address highlighted the importance of youth in nation building and motivated the students to always aim for excellence. The Governor also appreciated the endeavour by Assam Rifles for organising such tour and encouraged for more such initiatives in the future.

The visit of the NIT team is expected to further enhance the students' overall personality by giving them a wide variety of experiences and instil a sense of pride in their nation and become a responsible citizen .Students respresenting their school were happy after interacting with Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal.
