AR Organises 1st Bishnupur District Wushu Coaching Camp

In order to promote the sports activities and empowering youth of Bishnupur District, Loktak Battalion under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) sponsored to organise 1st Bishnupur District Wushu Coaching Camp from 01 March to 10 March 2023 at Thinungei village, Bishnupur District (Manipur).  

The coaching camp is being organised and sponsored by Loktak Battalion wherein deserving and interested local youths from Bishnupur and Churachandpur District are encouraged to participate. The aim of this activity is to generate the spirit of sportsmanship amongst the participants & civilians alike. The students participating in the Wushu coaching camp appreciated the initiative and highlighted that such events by the battalion will give fillip to “Assam Rifles-youth interaction” and foster a healthy competitive spirit among the youth of the area.

The event will go a long way in strengthening the relations between Security Forces and the local youths.
