Assam Rifles Conducts Awareness Lecture on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Moreh Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) conducted an Awareness Lecture on  Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Home Guard Veng (Dalpati Ground), Moreh on 03 March 2023.

Due to the high volume of drug abuse and trafficking prevalent in Moreh Town, it is the need of the hour to ensure that the youths and local populace not fall prey to the menace and decline the drugs trade and promote culture in youths and prevent them from getting indulges in unlawful activities. The Moreh Battalion Assam Rifles organised  an awareness at Home Guard Veng (Dalpati Ground), Moreh to highlight this issue and promote a healthy life, void of drugs and the dangers associated to its addiction and trafficking. In addition the Moreh Battalion also provided sports assistance to the youth team of Home Guard Veng.

The lecture was attended by approximately 55 personnel including Hill Tribal Council president, village chairman, sports secretary and their executive member, youths and women's of Home Guard Veng.
