Indian Army Conducted Counselling Session for Selected Children for Sainik School at Doda

Indian Army conducted a counselling session for children who cleared the entrance exam for Sainik School at Doda. The session was conducted in the presence of parents/guardians of selected children. The Indian Army has always been committed to providing quality education and opportunities to children from all backgrounds and the Sainik School is one of the many initiatives taken in this direction. The Sainik School is aimed at preparing young boys for a career in the armed forces by providing them with a holistic education and all-round development. A total of 42 participants attended the event. The counseling session was aimed at helping parents and guardians understand the admission process, the curriculum and the benefits of a Sainik School education. During the session, Indian Army encouraged all parents and briefed the children about the whole process of admission and subsequent preparation for Sainik School. The session was a noble undertaking by the Indian Army to motivate the youth and further strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the people. The locals appreciated and expressed the gratitude towards the Indian Army for the noble step and guiding youth to join the security forces.
