Assam Rifles Organises Security Meet with Village GBs, Local Leaders & Population

Churachandpur Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ  IGAR(South) conducted a Security Meetwith Village GBs, Local leaders and population at Hengkot Village, Churachandpur District on 06 March 2023.

In keeping with undeterred effort of Assam Rifles to reach out to civil society in the region, an informal interaction was conducted to discuss the need for maintaining peace and harmony in the area. The discussion was focused on the events happening in upcoming month and assured of all types of assistance to create a better peaceful environment.

A total of 30 individuals from various villages like Hengkot, Tuilaphai, Songpi and surrounding villages took part in the interaction at Hengkot, Churachandpr district.The civil populous appreciated the efforts of the battalion for conducting such an event which helps in strengthening the cooperation and also synergy with all the villages.
