Women's Day Celebrations at INS Circars

          INS Circars celebrated International Women's Day on 06 March 23. The Commanding Officer, INS Circars was the chief guest for the event. The event commenced with a brief presentation on Women's Day, the role of women in the society and recent GoI schemes for upliftment of women and their empowerment.

          Dr V Bhavani Devi,  working as the Office Superintendent at INS Circars presented her doctorate thesis on Socio Economic status of tribal women and how it has improved over the years by concerted efforts of the Govt and NGOs.

          A few women employees of the unit also shared their challenges and how they overcame it with the support and assistance of friends, colleagues, superiors and the own organisation ie., Indian Navy.

          CO Circars thanked all women employees for their contribution to the nation building in general and Indian Navy and their role in nation building.
