Construction of Community Hall at Chahong Khullen Village Kamjong District

Chassad Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) completed construction of Community Hall at Chahong Khullen as part of Operation Sadbhavana Projects for the financial year 2022-23. The infrastructure was inaugurated & handed over to village authorities on 13 Mar 2023.

The construction of Community Hall in the remote village along Indo-Myanmar Border will greatly facilitate villagers in organising community events of cultural/social significance. Moreover the project shall be an asset which will further economic development of the village over the years.

The village authorities have appreciated the efforts made by Assam Rifles and has urged to undertake more such initiatives for bringing more development in the area benefitting the community at large.
