Assam Rifles Provided Tablet PCs Under Arcap to Enhance It Literacy and Also Organised Say No to Tobacco Campaign at Villagers, Peren District, Nagaland

Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) facilitated with 15 mini tablets to Govt Primary School in Upper Jalukie Village and also organised ‘Say No to Tobacco’, ‘campaign at Villagers Peren District, Nagaland on 14 Mar 2023.

Assam Rifles personnel under Assam Rifles Civic Action Project provided 15 Tablets and necessary infrastructure to school authorities. Teachers were also briefed on basic know-how and usage of the equipment. The teachers and students were also demonstrated on how to use the tablets for various educational purposes and how they can be aptly used for our day to day needs. The students were briefed on the importance of Information Technology in various jobs and its application for ease of any work and how its knowledge can help us in days to come.

 Assam Rifles personnel also carried out ‘Say No to Tobacco’ campaign  at Old Jalukie and Gaili Namdi village in which a series of events to include an awareness lecture titled ‘Say No to Tobacco’ and how such persons could be helped within the family and society.

 Around 57 villagers including teacher & students attended the event.
