Assam Rifles Conducts One Day Cleanliness Program with Local Villagers

Chassad Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), Conducted a One Day cleanliness program at Nampisha Village, Kamjong District, Manipur on 15 Mar 2023.

The program was organised to create awareness amongst local population regarding importance of hygiene and sanitation. Garbage, wrappers, litters and other kind of waste were picked up and disposed properly.Total 04 teachers and 10 Students participated in the drive and pledged to keep the surrounding clean and hygienic. The Village Authorities applauded the efforts made by Assam Rifles for undertaking the initiative as part of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.
