Assam Rifles Apprehended Individual Alongwith Counterfeit Indian Currency Notes 

Radhanagar Battalion of  Agartala Sector  under the aegis of HQ IGAR (E)  in a joint operation with Patharkandi Police Station apprehended an individual alongwith Counterfeit Indian currency notes on 14 March 2023.

Based on credible information of Drugs and FICN, a joint Operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion of Assam Rifles with police representatives from Patharkandi Police Station on 14 Mar 2023.

The operation party apprehended Mr Nizamudhin Laskar alongwith Counterfeit Indian currency notes amounting to Rs. 15,44,000/-.

The individual alongwith Counterfeit Indian currency notes was handed over to Patharkandi PS for further investigation and legal proceedings.
