Indian Army Conducts Motivation Lecture Cum Registration  Drive on Agnipath Scheme at Gundna, Doda

The Union Cabinet approved an attractive recruitment scheme named Agnipath for Indian youth to serve in armed forces and designed to enable a youthful profile of the Armed Forces. As for the Armed Forces, it will provide a fresh lease of ‘Josh’ and ‘Jazba’ whilst at the same time bring about a transformational shift towards a more tech savvy Armed Forces - which is indeed the need of the hour. Those who will be enrolled through the scheme will be called Agniveer. Agniveers will be given an attractive customized monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable in the three services. To motivate youth about this excellent scheme, Indian Army organised a motivational lecture cum registration drive at Jodhpur (Gundna). A total of 23 youth attended the Motivation Lecture cum Registration Drive.  The lecture was organised under the regularly conducted motivational series for youth by the Indian Army. The purpose of organising the motivational lecture was to motivate youth to enroll through the Agnipath scheme launched by the Indian Government. Post this stint of four years, the Agniveers will be infused into the civil society where they can contribute immensely towards the nation building process. The lecture was a noble undertaking by the Indian Army to motivate the youth of our district, further strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the people. The participants had glowing reviews and feedback for the event with many hoping such an undertaking to be conducted regularly.
