Indian Army Organised Medical Patrol for Veer Naris and Veterans at Mughal Maidan, Kishtwar

Indian Army in its continuous efforts towards taking care of Veer Naris and veterans, a Medical Patrol was organised in Mughal Maidan area of Kishtwar District. The aim of the medical patrol was to reach out to our Veer Naris, Veterans and their families residing in far flung areas of Kishtwar and not able to avail the ECHS facilities. The Medical team of Indian Army went door to door and addressed the medical needs of the extended family.  22 Veer Naris / Widows, 16 Veterans and their families were treated and medical team provided them with essential medicines. The team also greeted them on the auspicious occasion of Holi as also International Women’s Day. The people of the area expressed their gratitude and highly appreciated the Indian Army for organising the medical patrol which will go a long way in reducing their hardships and requested to organize such camps on a regular basis.
