Indian Army Organises Medical Camp on the Occasion of International Women’s Day-2023

Indian Army has been relentlessly working towards upliftment of the society through many projects. The area of Bhata under Kishtwar District, J&K is under developed and lacks infrastructure for basic health and hygiene for women. The Indian Army has taken up various welfare schemes for upliftment of this area. Keeping the same into consideration, Indian Army alongwith the medical staff conducted a health and hygiene camp for women at Bhata village on the occasion of International Women’s Day-2023. The camp was aimed to provide basic medical facilities and also educated women on importance of health and hygiene. The camp witnessed a huge turnover of local women. A total of 73 ladies were benefited from the camp. The locals appreciated Indian Army efforts to conduct the lecture and also to create awareness among the locals. They also pledged to extend their wholehearted support for the noble cause.
