Assam Rifles Provided Emergency Medical Assistance to Snake Bite Victim

Churachandpur Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) extended life saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim at T Khongkhai Company Operating Base to Mrs  Chimkoneum aged 50 years, of Tuidam village, Sangaikot Sub Division, Churachandpur district, Manipur on 16 Mar 2023.

The incident occurred while she was working in the vegetable garden. She was bitten by a snake on her left foot. She was brought to T Khongkhai Company Operating Base for medical help where the medical team examined and immediately rendered essential medical care and stabilized her condition.

The local population expressed gratitude towards Assam Rifles for providing necessary medical assistance in time of pain.
