Assam Rifles Distributes Sports Items to Youth at Mapum Village in Kamjong District, Manipur

Shangshak battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) distributed sports items to the youth of Mapum Village in Kamjong District on 15 March 2023.

The troops of Assam Rifles distributed various sports items including footballs, football nets, volleyballs, Chess Boards and volleyball nets under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme. This initiative by Shangshak Battalion was to encourage the Sports oriented students of Tangkhul Land.

This noble gesture of the security forces to encourage sportsmanship was whole heartedly appreciated by the entire Tangkhul fraternity especially the youth.
