Assam Rifles Organises Distribution of Sport Items Under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme

Mantripukhri Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised distribution of Sports items under Assam Rifles Civic Action Program to Village Ngarumphung, Vill New Cannan, Vill Urangpat & Vill Twichin of Kangpokpi District (Manipur) on 17 March 2023.

In continuation of its efforts to reach out to local populace Assam Rifles conducts various welfare activities to win the hearts of the local populace and boost the image of the Assam Rifles among the common people. The sports items including Volleyball, Football, Football Shoes, Badminton racket, shuttle cock and other indoor sports equipment have been handed over to all the four villagers.

Village chiefs and Youth club members of all the villages expressed their profound gratitude to the Assam Rifles for extending all the help & support. Such gesture will go a long way towards endearing local populace towards Assam Rifles.
