Assam Rifles Conducts Lec and Friendly Volleyball Match on 17 Mar 2023

Khuga Battalion of Churachandpur Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted A Friendly Volleyball Match for local Youths in village Singhat, Churachandpur district, Manipur on 17 Mar 23.

To motivate youth to excel in the field of sports thereby promoting Sports Culture in border villages of Manipur, Company Operating Base Singhat of Khuga Battalion organised a friendly Volleyball match between Local Youth and Assam Rifles at village Singhat, Churachandpur district of Manipur. The event started with interaction with village youths followed by volleyball match and a small tea party. During the event the youths were asked about their aspirations and dreams and support they seek from Assam Rifles. The youth were also assured for all the assistance they require for exploring the future prospects and opportunities extended to them by various stakeholders. A total of 58 locals including the audiences attended the subject event.

During the interaction the youth were briefed about sports culture in India including its historical linkage and the opportunities available in today's environment in various sports genres. They were also motivated to follow their dream sports and bring accolades for the Country.
