Assam Rifles Organises Friendly VolleyBall Match

Joupi Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) standing firm to it's credo of "Friends of the NE People" organised a friendly Volleyball match with youths of Phaisangjang Village situated near Indo-Myanmar Boarder under the theme “ FIGHTING DRUGS THROUGH SPORTS“ at Chandel District, Manipur on 27 April  2023.

The Volleyball match was aimed at promoting sports as a tool to fight drugs usage amongst the youth and to build harmony and understanding between the youths and the security forces. The game was also used as a platform to hunt talented sportsmen and motivate them to join Armed forces.

The village authorities, youths and players expressed their gratitude to the security forces for conducting such a meaningful event.
