Modi Battalion Celebrated in "Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Anal Armed Forces Veteran Association Program" at Beru at Chandel District, Manipur

Modi Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) celebrated "Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Anal Armed Forces Veteran Association Program" with the people of Beru Khudam village, Chandel District, Manipur on 28 Apr 2023.

The Programme Committee of the village invited DIG, 26 SECTOR ASSAM RIFLES and MODI BATTALION to foster healthy relations with the local populace and ESMs of Beru Khudam and nearby villages.During the Opening Ceremony, War Memorial inauguration was carried out followed by Flag Hoisting.

The program was an amalgamation of culture preservation and celebrations in which events like Anal Tribal dance, Folk songs by the students of Koinonia Training School. As a matter of respect for the veterans, Band display was also organised by Modi Battalion.

The event witnessed the felicitation of guests and families of Martyrs with souvenirs.Issues pertaining to development, security and education were discussed during the interaction. The ESMs and villagers expressed their kind gesture for Battalion's contribution and being part of the celebration. A total of 70 children and 400 villagers including ESMs were part of the celebrations.
