Kumaon Regimental Centre Organizes ESM Rally and Medical Camp for Veterans and Their Dependents in Almora

The Kumaon Regimental Centre (KRC), under the aegis of HQ Uttarakhand Sub Area, organised an ESM Rally and Medical Camp for Veterans, Veer Naris and dependents of Almora district on 28 April 2023. The rally witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 215 Veterans and their dependents, who utilised the opportunity to interact with various government agencies and resolve their issues at a common platform. 

Commandant KRC, Ranikhet presided over the proceedings of the camp and interacted with all Veterans and Veer Naris. A representative of Zila Sainik Board briefed the attendees regarding various schemes and benefits for Ex-servicemen and their dependents which have been introduced by the State and Central Government. 

The rally comprised of stalls established by Zila Sainik Board Almora, ECHS Ranikhet, Pay Accounts Office for resolution of queries on SPARSH platform. Stall of Records of The Kumaon Regiment to address grievances of Veterans. Stalls of Nationalised Banks for updation of Aadhaar and creation of accounts and stall of MH Ranikhet for providing medical assistance. The Veterans and their dependents utilised this great opportunity to interact and resolve various issues. 

This event is one of the many forthcoming welfare activities for Ex-servicemen and their dependents of the region. The Kumaon Regimental Centre aims to provide a better quality of life for the Veterans and their dependents through such initiatives.

The ESM Rally and Medical Camp is a small step in that direction, and we will continue to organise such events for the welfare of our ex-servicemen and their dependents," said Commandant KRC, Ranikhet.
