Assam Rifles Conducts Awareness Programme on Career in Armed Forces   

Khuga Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a Lecture on Career in Armed Forces to ensure a progressive society at vill Singhat in Churachandpur district on 2 May 2023. 

The said event was organised by Assam Rifles and witnessed a healthy participation by village youths.

Timely Career Guidance has all the potential to direct the young energy in the right path with adequate opportunity and will help build a developed and resourceful society. In this regard a comprehensive lecture cum interactive session was conducted for touths to motivate them to join uniformed forces and add value to the society. The said event also focussed on need to insulate youth from anti-social activities and Tobacco menace and engage them in socially productive work. The lecture was heavily subscribed with participation of 130 students incl 60 girls and 70 boys. More such events will be conducted in subsequent days to channelise the energy of youths in border village for a peaceful and developed society.
