Assam Rifles Organized Cleanliness Drive Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Sendra

Loktak Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted “Cleanliness Drive” under the theme Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Sendra, Bishnupur District (Manipur) on 03 May 2023.

The drive was aimed to create awareness about maintaining proper personal hygiene and to keep the surroundings clean. During the event all ranks of Sendra post of the battalion and locals of Sendra actively participated in cleanliness drive around Loktak Lake. Company Commander of Company Operating Base, Sendra briefed local populace about the various initiatives undertaken by the Loktak Battalion to keep the environment clean.

The event culminated with undertaking a pledge to keep the environment clean and maintain proper hygiene and sanitization by all ranks and local populace.
