Assam Rifles Organised Awareness Lecture on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in Peren District, Nagaland

Assam Rifles Bn under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organised an awareness lectures on Drugs at Baptist Higher Secondary School, Peren & Tening Town of Peren District Nagaland on 06 May 2023. Assam Rifles personnel carried out a series of events to include a lecture on the cause of Drug and substance abuse and how such persons could be helped within the family and society. The students & villagers were also educated about the ill effects of this social evil on rise and what other problems could arise in society, followed by an interactive session with the attendees and answering their queries on the same. Refreshments were served to the people attending the event. Around 320 students of Baptist Higher Secondary School, Peren & 29 villagers of Tening attended the event.
