Assam Rifles in Collaboration with District Hospital, Peren Organised Mega Medical Camp at Old Tesen Village in Peren District, Nagaland

Assam Rifles Bn under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) standing firm to its credo of "Friends of the Hill People" collaborated with the District Hospital, Peren and organised a Mega Medical Camp in Old Tesen village, Peren District of Nagaland to benefit villagers living in far-flung areas. The camp was conducted on May 5th 2023. The medical camp was attended by a large number of villagers from the surrounding areas. Approximately 482 villagers and 105 children were benefitted. A team of doctors from District Hospital, Peren along with doctors, nurses and paramedical staff from Assam Rifles provided consultation and treatment for various ailments and  health problems. The team included specialists in fields of Otolaryngology, Dermatology and General Medicine along with an Ophthalmology technician.In addition a team of healthcare professionals educated the people about various health issues and gave tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
