Assam Rifles Organized Visit of School Students to Border Area as Part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Under the Theme "Unity" at Akhen, Phek, Nagaland

Assam Rifles Bn under aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organised a visit to Company Operating Base at Indo Myanmar Border for  school students under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav-Unity campaign at Akhen, Phek, Nagaland on 04 May 23. A total of 30 students and 02 teachers from Phek participated in the event, spending their day at the Company Operating Base near India - Myanmar Border and actively engaged in various creative activities which were designed to elicit their talents. A Company tour was organised for students followed by various fun games where all students participated with zeal. A movie on 'Assam Rifles-Through the ages' was screened and which was rejoiced by the students and teachers. The movie highlighted the role of Assam Rifles as preservers and promoters of peace in North East.
