Assam Rifles Provide Humanitarian Aid to Refugees

HQ IGAR (South) under aegis of Spear Corps provided humanitarian aid to refugees at Mantripukhri relief camp. Due to disturbances in the state nearly 3000 refugees from several areas in the state were provided humanitarian & medical aid at IGAR(S), Mantripukhri relief camp. The rescued people who had to  abandoned their houses amidst of disturbances & were seeking aid & evacuation were rescued by Assam Rifles to Mantripukhri based IGAR (South).

Presently, there are nearly 3000 refugees present in the Mantripukhri relief camp and all are jubilant, thankful & have wholeheartedly expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for their selfless support to the people of the north east.
