Assam Rifles by means of 24x7 Helpline desk responded to numerous distress calls, one in particular was made by residents from Kakching district, Manipur informing about four young children aged 10-14 years who were stranded at Thoubal and found it impossible to move to their parents due to blockades and violence in the area. The parents under extreme stress due to prevailing security situation and found reassurance by the Assam Rifles.  

Modi Battalion of Assam Rifles made a immediate move to the area and successfully rescued & reunited the kids with their families which brought immense relief & happiness to the family.
