Police Boys & Girls Club Children Visit Indian Coast Guard Ship 

About 100 children from Tamil Nadu Police Boys and Girls club visited Indian Coast Guard Ship Sujay on an educational tour conducted at Chennai on 09 May 23. The students were accompanied by Mr M Manohar, Joint Commissioner of Police, West Zone. The visiting children were given an overview of role of Indian Coast Guard in safeguarding country’s maritime interests. The children were also given first-hand exposure to high end technology onboard ship and briefed on operational capabilities of existing fleet of Coast Guard ships and aircraft.  

During the subsequent interaction, the children were also briefed about job avenues, types of entries and procedure to apply for recruitment in Indian Coast Guard.
