Assam Rifles Facilitated Evacuation for Stranded People  

HQ IGAR (South) under aegis of Spear Corps facilitated evacuation for the stranded people who were staying at IGAR (South) based Mantripukhri relief camp on 09 May 2023.

Due to disturbances in the state nearly 3000 refugees from several areas taking refuge in Mantripukhri relief camp were provided safe passage to their domicile relief camp along with one civ bus, one civ tata, one AR Bus, one AR Tata & one AR Bolero vehicles to escort 183 refugees including 85 Male, 66 female & 32 children from Mantripukhri relief camp Imphal to Ccpur.

The refugees wholeheartedly expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for their selfless support to the people of Manipur.
