Assam Rifles Organised Visit of School Students Under the Initiative "A Day With Company Commander"  at Pungro, Kiphire, Nagaland

Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) organised a visit to Company Operating Base for  school students under the initiative “A Day with Company Commander“ with theme of "Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Future" at Pungro, Kiphire district, Nagaland.

A total of 100 students and 05 teachers from 03 schools of Pungro town participated in the event, spending the day with the troops at COB. Various participative games were organised to foster a sense of Team Spirit, Camaraderie, Brotherhood, Competitive Spirit and to encourage physical fitness activities. All the students actively engaged in various sports and creative activities which were designed to hone their skills and talents. The motivational video of "Assam Rifles through the ages" was also screened for the students. It was followed by Motivational lecture by Company Commander and National Anthem sung altogether by the students, teachers and Troops of Assam Rifles.
