25 Years of Pokhran 2nd Nuclear Test Cadets Celebrated by NCC Cadets at Kohima

1 Nagaland Girls Battalion NCC under the aegis of NCC Group HQ, Kohima conducted a programme on ‘Celebration of 25 years of Second Pokhran Nuclear Test’ on 13 May 2023 at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma. On the occasion, a guest lecture was delivered by Dr Visuzoto Valeo, Asst Professor, Dept of Physics, Kohima Science College, Jotsoma and powerpoint presentations on the topic ‘Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy for the development of the Nations’ were presented by NCC cadets of Kohima Science College, Jotsoma. A Video Tour on Nuclear Energy, Reactors and Cyclotron Centres was also displayed to the audience. Prize winners of the Art and Poster Competition held on 13 May 2023 including the presenters of lectures and presentations were also felicitated during the program. Brig PS Sangwan, Group Commander, NCC Group, Kohima congratulated the prize winners and encouraged the youth to contribute in spreading awareness on the Peaceful use of Nuclear Energy for development of Nations.
