Assam Rifles Rescued Non Tribal Civilians From Sajik Tampak Area

Assam Rifles conducted a rescue operation on 12 May 2023 in which 47 Non Tribal civilians who were stuck in Sajik Tampak were rescued to Kakching during the ongoing disturbance in Manipur.

The rescue operation was planned and executed over seven days in which the people were provided shelter and medical aid and subsequently were rescued at midnight of 12 May 2023 to Kakching District of Manipur and further ahead to their native places.

The people expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation towards Assam Rifles for extending full support in the hour of distress and rescuing them home safely.
