Shri Vijoy Kumar Singh, Secretary, Ex-Servicemen Welfare Visits Headquarters Northern Command  at Udhampur Military Station 

Shri Vijoy Kumar Singh, IAS, Secretary, Ex-Servicemen Welfare visited Udhampur Military Station on 15 May 2022 and interacted with  Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, GOC-in-C and other senior  officers of Headquarters Northern Command.

During the visit, he discussed various issues related with welfare of Ex-Servicemen and their glorious contribution in Nation Building. Secretary Ex-Servicemen Welfare was also briefed on the contribution of Northern Command in Nation building in the UTs of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He appreciated various Ex-Servicemen welfare schemes and valuable contribution of all ranks of ‘Always in Combat’ Command, while securing the borders as well as fighting the Proxy War in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
